Financial crisis has negatively affected construction industry, causing many projects in Russia to shut down. This has in turn caused falling in demand for aluminium products for construction resulting in low charge of production facilities and suspension of investment projects on building of new facilities. However, over the last few months some positive trends have been seen: output of aluminium rolled products and profiles for construction have grown, a number of companies plan on setting up own aluminium productions etc. It is clear now that after the revival of economy use of aluminium products in architecture and construction will be brought to a new level.
