Alcan inaugurates a high technology furnace in Sierre, Switzerland

today inaugurated a technologically advanced horizontal furnace at the

Alcan supplies aluminum sheet for new Peugeot 308

PARIS,  France, Oct. 1 /CNW Telbec/ — Alcan announced today that it will
supply PSA Peugeot Citroen with aluminum sheet for the hood of the new
Peugeot 308. Peugeot is expecting to produce 350,000 units of its 308 series
in 2008 making it the highest volume vehicle in Europe using aluminum body
panels. The aluminum sheet is produced at Alcan’s Specialty Sheet rolling and
recycling operations in Neuf-Brisach, France.

Russia’s RUSAL opens head trade office in Switzerland
