The united company 'Russian Aluminum' agreed with the Kazakh corporation 'Samruk' on joint ownership in a major coal asset — 'Bogatyr Access Komir'. Later it could be amalgamated with Ekibastuz GRES-2. On this base Rusal is set to build up an electrometallurgical holding in Kazakhstan, including an aluminum and alumina plants worth in total of about USD3.5 billion. | |||
