Rusal Picks Former Anglo American Exec As Non-Exec Director

MOSCOW (Dow Jones)-United Co. Rusal, Russia’s largest aluminum and alumina producer Monday, said it has appointed Simon Thompson as an independent non-executive Director.

Simon Thompson was previously a member of the executive committee of Anglo American plc

Prior to this, he was an investment banker with SG Warburg and NM Rothschild, specializing in the natural resources sector.
