Alcoa Inc. (AA) said Monday that Executive Vice President Paul D. Thomas will leave the company to join Rank Group Ltd. upon the closing of the sale of Alcoa’s packaging and consumer businesses to Rank Group. The New York-based aluminum company announced in December that it has agreed to sell its packaging and consumer businesses to New Zealand-based Rank Group for $2.7 billion. The deal is expected to close by the end of the first quarter. | |||
