Chinalco: No Decision Yet On Raising Rio Tinto Stake To 15%

HONG KONG -(Dow Jones)- Aluminum Corp. of China President Xiao Yaqing said Wednesday no decision has been made with Alcoa Inc. (AA) to raise their combined stake in Rio Tinto PLC (RTP) to 15% from 9%.

"We haven’t made a decision whether to raise the stake to 15%. We have to negotiate with Alcoa on any stake increase," Xiao told reporters in Hong Kong.
