Hong Kong (Dow Jones)-Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd. (ACH), the world’s second-largest alumina producer by output after Alcoa Inc., said Tuesday its first-quarter net profit was CNY1.17 billion under Chinese accounting standards.

The company, better known as Chalco, said in a statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange its revenue in the three months ended March 31 was CNY15.23 billion.

Chalco didn’t provide year-earlier figures in its statement.

The company has American Depositary Receipts traded in the U.S. and shares traded in both Hong Kong and Shanghai.
