National Aluminium Sells 30,000 Tons Alumina At $457.57/Ton

MUMBAI (Dow Jones)-India’s state-run National Aluminium Co. sold 30,000 metric tons of alumina in a spot tender at $457.57/ton, free on board, a senior company official said Tuesday.

The alumina, to be shipped in July, was sold to a South African buyer, said the official, who didn’t wished to be named.

Early last month, the company had sold 30,000 tons of alumina at $425/ton.
