17 August MOSCOW, Prime- TASS	Accident at major Russian hydropower plant kills 7 people Seven people were killed and 11 people were injured in an accident that occurred early Monday at Russia’s Sayano-Shushenskaya hydropower plant on the Yenisey River in the constituent republic of Khakasia, Dmitry Kudryavtsev, head of the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Siberian branch, told ITAR-TASS.

3 August ATLANTA, Press Release	Novelis First Quarter Pre-Tax Income of $273 Million Shows Significant Improvement over Previous Quarter Novelis Inc., a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries Limited, today reported pre-tax income of $273 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2010, which ended June 30, 2009. This represents a $211 million increase as compared to pre-tax income of $62 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009. Net income attributable to the company’s common shareholder was $143 million for the first quarter, a $159 million increase over the $16 million loss recorded in the previous quarter.
