UC RUSAL (HKSE: 486, Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL), the world’s largest aluminium producer, announces the appointment of Ulrich Schridde as the Director of the European Sales.

Ulrich Schridde, who previously was Director for Metal Management in Europe at Novelis AG, will be responsible for leading and developing RUSAL’s European sales portfolio. He will report to Steve Hodgson who heads the International Sales Directorate.
 
This appointment is part of a comprehensive restructure of the sales organisation to create and support regional sales teams within the International Sales Directorate of RUSAL, with a focus on improving customer service and further development of its product portfolio. Further announcements will be made in due course.

Biography

Ulrich Schridde has about 20 years of experience in the metals and mining industry. Prior to joining RUSAL he worked as Director for Metal Management in Europe at Novelis AG. In 2001–2007 Ulrich Schridde was Director for Metal Management at Alcan Europe where he previously held several senior positions in sales and marketing. Ulrich Schridde started his career at Novelis AG (formerly Alcan Deutschland GmbH) in 1981. Ulrich Schridde was born in 1955. He holds a diploma in Business administration from Georg-August University (Gottingen, Germany).
